Privacy Notice
This notice covers two separate things: this website, and the Axiometrik desktop application. They handle data very differently, so they are described separately below.
1. This website
This is a static informational website. We do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or third-party marketing pixels, and we do not sell or share personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.
What is collected
| Source | Data | Why | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Web server logs | IP address, timestamp, page requested, user agent, referrer | Security, abuse prevention, and diagnosing errors | [[CONFIRM WITH HOST — e.g. 30 days]] |
| Your browser's local storage | Your chosen colour theme — nothing else | So the site looks the way you left it on your next visit | Until you clear your browser storage |
| Email you send us | Your name, email address, and whatever you choose to include | To respond to your inquiry and maintain a business record | Retained as a business record |
Hosting and email are provided by third-party service providers who process this data on our behalf: [[HOSTING PROVIDER]] (website hosting) and Proton AG (email).
We do not place cookies on this site. The one thing this site stores in your browser is your
colour theme choice, kept in local storage under the key axm-theme. It holds a
single word — brand, dark, or contrast — it is
never transmitted to us, and clearing your browser storage removes it. The site loads no
third-party scripts, fonts, analytics, or trackers of any kind.
2. The Axiometrik desktop application
The application is a single-workstation desktop program. It stores all customer data locally on the customer's own equipment. There is no vendor-operated account, server or hosted store, no vendor-side copy of customer data, and no telemetry, analytics or crash-reporting transmission to Axiometrik. Application logs are written locally.
Because of this architecture, Axiometrik does not act as a service provider, data processor, or business associate with respect to data a customer enters into the application, and the beta agreement includes no data processing addendum, business associate agreement, or GLBA service-provider undertaking. These points are stated in Article 7.1 of the Beta Software License Agreement and are repeated here for transparency; the Agreement controls.
External lookups
Certain application features retrieve public reference data from third-party sources over the internet. Those requests reach the third-party provider and are subject to that provider's own practices. See Article 7.4 of the Agreement for the governing terms.
Data a customer chooses to send us
If a customer voluntarily sends logs, exports, screenshots or other diagnostic material for support purposes, we receive whatever that material contains. Beta participants are directed to use synthetic, redacted or non-sensitive test data (Article 7.3) and to redact before sending.
3. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, or to ask us to delete correspondence, write to legal@axiometrik.net. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. Note that we generally hold very little personal information: server logs and email correspondence.
4. Children
This website and the software are intended for business use. They are not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
5. Changes
If this notice changes materially, we will update the effective date above and, where required, provide additional notice. Prior versions are available on request.
